As part of its monthly on-going activities, a networking event was organised by eWIT on 23rd July 2009 at Adyar Boat Club.  The event was well attended by a large number of eWIT corporate and individual members.

Mr. William Webb, Vice Counsel, US Consulate, Chennai was the key note speaker of the event. He gave an overview on the H-1B and L1 processes and various procedures that Indian Software companies need to follow for sending their employees to the US under these categories. His speech was well received and the event turned out to be quite lively with the audience interacting with him on various issues.  

eWIT's Annual General Meeting was conducted after the networking meet.
